One mailbox, read by the editor. Corrections, primary documents and tips all arrive at the same address.

There is one way to contact CanadianWorldReport, and it is a mailbox that the editor reads. Corrections, primary documents and tips all arrive at the same address. What follows is what is useful to send, and what happens to it after it arrives.

The address

editor@canadianworldreport.com

It is printed rather than linked, the same way source addresses are printed at the foot of every article. Copy it into your mail client.

What is useful to send

If you are sendingInclude
A correctionThe article title and the sentence you are disputing. A primary document that contradicts it moves fastest of all
A primary documentThe document, and where it came from. A designation notice, a filing, a transcript, a dataset
A tipWhat you think happened, and anything on the record that supports it. A record beats a recollection

What happens to what you send

It is read. A tip is treated as a lead, which means we go and find the primary source rather than publishing on the strength of the message, and if there is no source to find then the tip does not become an article. That is the same standard applied to every other input on this site and it is set out in the verification methodology.

We do not publish the identity of anybody who writes to us.

What we do not do with it

We run no mailing list, send no newsletter and collect no email addresses. Writing to this address does not subscribe you to anything, because there is nothing to be subscribed to. The address is not sold, rented or passed on.

We carry no advertising and publish no sponsored material, so an approach about either has nothing to attach to.

Nothing published here is investment, legal or security advice. We report what has already happened and what it is recorded as costing. We do not forecast and we do not tell you what to do. Corrections are published in the open and logged, never made by silent edit.
